Ingredients

16 oz elbow macaroni

4 tbsp butter

¼ cup all‑purpose flour

3 cups whole milk, warmed

2 cups shredded or hand torn Cooper® Sharp White Cheese

½ tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp paprika
-
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
-
2 tbsp melted butter (for topping)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
Cook macaroni according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in warm milk, stirring constantly until thick and smooth.
Reduce heat to low and stir in shredded Cooper® cheese until fully melted. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Fold cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until evenly coated.
Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish.
Combine breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle evenly over the top.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
