Ingredients

16 oz cavatappi pasta

4 tbsp butter

¼ cup all‑purpose flour

3 cups whole milk, warmed

2½ cups shredded or hand-torn Cooper® Sharp White Cheese

½ tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
¼ tsp paprika (optional)

Optional garnish: chopped parsley
Directions
Cook cavatappi according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Gradually whisk in warm milk until smooth. Continue cooking until the sauce thickens.
Reduce heat to low and stir in Cooper® Sharp White Cheese until fully melted and creamy.
Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Add cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and stir until evenly coated.
Serve warm for a rich, creamy finish.
