Ingredients

1 loaf of homemade garlic bread on Italian bread (or store-bought)

½ lb thinly sliced ribeye steak

1 cup pizza sauce

6 slices of Cooper® Sharp White

½ cup sautéed mushrooms
-
½ cup green bell pepper
-
¼ cup sliced yellow onion

Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F
Cook steak in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned, seasoned with salt and pepper.
Sauté mushrooms, peppers, and onions in the same skillet until tender.
Assemble sandwich
Open garlic bread lengthwise and spread pizza sauce on both sides.
Layer cooked steak, sautéed veggies, and Cooper® Sharp White slices.
Bake for 8-10 minutes on a baking sheet until cheese is melted and bread is slightly crisp.
Slice in half and serve hot.
