And they may be right, but it’s not easy ordering a pizza from its birthplace in Naples and having it on the front door by dinnertime. Which is why the Cheesesteak Flatbread Pizza made with Cooper® Sharp is the perfect alternative. It delivers fast, bold, melty goodness. The perfect meal to enjoy with family, friends, or on your own!

Ingredients

1 Long Hots pepper, washed and sliced (if Long Hots are unavailable, substitute with 2 Anaheim peppers).
- 8 garlic cloves
- ½ cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded Cooper® Sharp White American cheese (about 12 slices, hand torn)

6 ounces beef rib shaved steak*
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 flatbread pizza crust

1/4 cup shredded Cooper® Sharp White American cheese (or about 2-3 slices, hand torn).

vegetable oil

salt and pepper to taste

fresh minced parsley
Directions
- In a skillet, roast the sliced peppers in oil, set aside.
- In the same skillet, roast the garlic cloves in oil until browned, set aside.
- In the skillet, cook and stir the steak in oil until desired doneness, season with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
- In a saucepan, prepare a cheese sauce by heating cream and slowly whisk in 1 cup Cooper® Sharp cheese until it is melted.
- Build your flatbread by spreading the cheese sauce over the flatbread crust, top with roasted peppers & garlic, steak and sprinkle with the remaining shredded Cooper® cheese.
- Bake at 375°F for 10-15 minutes.
- Finish with a sprinkle of fresh minced parsley, if desired.
