Loaded with fresh jalapeños, chives, and shredded Cooper® cheese, these golden-brown biscuits bake up tender, buttery, and irresistibly savory. Perfect on their own or as the foundation for your favorite breakfast sandwich, they're the kind of biscuit that steals the spotlight.

Ingredients

4 cups flour

2 tablespoons baking powder

2 teaspoons salt

2/3 cup butter

1-1/2 cups milk

1/2 cup fresh chopped chives

2 cup shredded or torn Cooper

24 slices jalapeno
-
¼ cup melted butter
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt; cut in the butter. Add the chives and cheese; toss to combine. Add the milk, mix until moistened.
Roll to a ½ inch thickness, but into 8 rounds with a biscuit cutter. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Top each with 3 jalapeno slices, gently press into biscuit. Bake for 10-15 minutes. During the last 5 minutes; brush with melted butter.
Remove from the oven and serve warm.
